Texas Hold'em Ranking Hands

There are many different ways in ranking your hand in Texas Hold'em. Let's get to know them:

Royal Flush – This is the highest rank of them all. In is the top five cards in the deck (10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace), all in the same suit (either spades, hearts, clubs, or diamonds).

Straight Flush – Five successive cards of the same suite, other than a Royal Flush. In this case Ace may also be counted as one.

Four of a Kind – This is any four cards of the same face value, plus any other odd card.

Full House – This is a case where any three cards of the same value, plus any other two cards of the same face values other than the face value of the first three cards.

Flush – It is a case where any five cards of the same suit (spades, hearts, clubs, or diamonds), but not running successively in face value.

Straight – This is where five cards, of two or more suits running consecutively in face value.

Three of a Kind – It is any three cards of the same face value, plus any other two odd cards.

Two Pairs – This is where there are any two cards of the same face value, plus another two cards of the same face value, but different from the first pair, plus any other add card.


One Pair – This is where there are any two cards of the same face value, plus three other odd cards.
